Lost in HOPE, Found in LOVE
If you are an Air Supply fan, you are probably wondering if I mixed up the title of this post. Yes, I know the title of the popular Air Supply song is Lost in Love, however, I have been feeling lost in HOPE for the most part of 2021. I know… how ironic… a person named HOPE can feel… umm… HOPELESS. Yup… absolutely! God loves irony; however, from my point of view, this state of mind feels anything but ironic. If you had the opportunity to read my previous post on drifting, perh

Avoid Drifting… Get Anchored to HOPE
Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the thing we have heard, lest we drift away. Hebrews 2:1 So… as I sit here trying to compose inspiring thoughts about the danger of drifting, I am overwhelmed by the irony of my OWN drifting. My goal was to have this post ready by Blue Monday, which falls on the third Monday of January. The theory behind Blue Monday, dubbed the most depressing day of the year, revolves around multiple variables. These “blue” variables include th

Flight 2021... Destination HOPE!
Welcome to Flight 2021! This is your Creator (a.k.a. God) speaking. I have cleared us for take-off as we embark on our New Year journey. THANKFULLY GRATEFUL
As I compiled my thoughts for this post, I (once again) struggled with finding a message that would resonate and inspire, be memorable and genuine… okay… just plain stand out from the rest. We are bombarded with a bunch of sentiments related to being thankful as the holidays approach. So, what do I have to add to this message? Uhhh… hmmm… YUP! Uhhh and hmmm… that’s some inspiring stuff! And then it happened… AGAIN… the power went out! I am telling you… God knows how to ge

God POWER
As I compiled my thoughts for this post, I was struggling a bit with putting any message worthwhile together. My original intent was to write about being thankful, giving thanks, and finding gratitude in all the little things God gives us that add up to big things, however, it just didn’t feel right at the time. Then, as I began listing the third thing I am grateful for in my gratitude journal, God emPOWERed me with only wisdom He can give… the POWER went out! The lights went

I used to HATE my name! It wasn't until I turned 40, that my Hope hating turned a corner. Now, NOTHING can shut down HOPE!

"Hope in the Huddle" focuses on seeing hope within yourself and throughout your surroundings while in huddle mode. HOPE is trusting that God will always come through, even in the darkest storm. To HUDDLE is to nestle closely. " Hope in the Huddle" involves a change in perspective… to only those things that are within our huddle… our circle of influence. It means looking to God for our source joy through the act of being grateful for His love, character, provision, perspective, and… His perfect plan for our lives. Hope never fails because God never fails. EnJOY your "Hope in the Huddle" journey. May the HOPE be with you… wherever your huddle is nested!
